WHEELED CONTAINER CARRIER

In the winter of 2018, Dymech Engineering was contracted to supply two mobile container carriers. The client scope described the functional requirements of the product, including lift height, carrying capacity, steering capabilities, and more. It was our responsibility to design and fabricate to these specifications and deliver the completed units in just 8 weeks.

The container carriers twist-lock into a 20ft standard ISO container at the corner pockets, and lift the unit vertically with manually pumped hydraulic actuators. All four sets of wheels can turn 180 degrees and include a tow bar, which offers excellent mobility. Between operations, the units fold and lock into a compact, forklift-compatible transportation rack for ease of storage.
